Story
Back in 2020 I started to volunteer with an LGBTQ+ Charity in Bedford & Milton Keynes. Not long after starting with them a new role opened up and I was given the role of the Schools Out Reach for the charity, meaning I was able to go into the schools and different education settings and help them make their places a safer place for the LGBTQ+ community. Unfortunately the youth service including the schools work was closed down from within the charity in December 2022.

This didn't stop the youth and schools team. We joined forces to bring a new fabulous youth service to Milton Keynes! Giving the LGBTQ+ community a safe space to be free and explore who they may be in a non-judgmental place. So why I am I telling you all about this on the Capri Conceive website? During the endless convocations, planning, writing, more planning, more re-writing Capri was asked to be the Brand Ambassador for Under The Umbrella.

This was something I couldn't refuse! With a large public & social media image and being booked all around the UK, I know I can help raise some of the funds that we need to keep this service free for the young people to attend too.
